For more than six decades, Einheitserden based on the patented recipe of Prof. Fruhstorfer have formed the basis for successful horticultural production of ornamental plants and ornamental trees, fruit and vegetables. Since the 1980s, we have supplemented the tried and tested mixtures of peat and clay with alternative substrate raw materials taking into account the technical, economic and ecological developments in horticulture.

These mixtures from our company have long been pioneering with regard to peat reduction and organic farming. That is why we have repackaged them under the brand PATZER ERDEN. There is already more to it today: e.g. mixtures with at least 50% vol. peat substitute or vegan fertilised substrates for organic farming. The proven clay-peat mixtures are still available under the Einheitserde brand.

In addition to substrates for professional horticulture, our umbrella brand PATZER ERDEN also combines soils for landscaping as well as commercial soils for the specialist retailers.
